 Why was Sunday's postlude
called "Tubas Ahoy!" ???

If you were one of the many people who wondered that
last Sunday, here is your answer....

             Is this an organ tuba?

No, this is not an organ tuba.

Is this an organ tuba?
No, this is not an organ tuba.
The tuba is a big, fat reed
stop found in English organs.
It can be part of the full
organ chorus sound or it can
be a solo above the organ,
as it was in last Sunday's
postlude.  This Sunday a tuba
will be featured in the offertory
in a quieter setting.
This is their basic design
They come in many shapes, sizes and metals.
Pretty, shiny, brassy pipes
or big, tall, imposing gray pipes

Bent over so they will fit under the ceiling
      And lots of fun!

Now - what the "Ahoy!" part was about....
                               Who knows......
